I'm using an iPhone 4S as well. I'm not sure I've had it on for more than 45 minutes though. I'll try to pay attention to this today.

I definitely don't think this is normal behavior though. I Googled for some similar issues, but I didn't see anything other than just normal buffering issues, which could be happening anywhere from your phone through your router to the music server.

listen to a station for about 45 minutes at a time is this normal?

I have not been noticing this behavior myself. Has it always happened for you
when using iTunes Radio? What phone are you doing this on? Have you tried
closing apps in the App Switcher and maybe even powering your phone off and on?

I am attempting to listen to a station right now, and I can't get through a
whole track before I am kicked out of the stationed back to the station
list. Has anyone been experiencing this. Also, my stations at best have
been playing 2 or 3 songs and then they stop playing. Has anyone
experienced this issue as well? If this keeps up, I am going to renew my
Pandora subscription.
