Where did you see this program? I was on the web site today and I saw
nothing about it.

Hi all, what you want to remember when using the AT&T next program is
something that AT&T does not tell their customers. Let's say that you buy a
phone. The next year you decide you want to upgrade to another phone. This
is all okay you can do that. But you still will be paying for your first
phone until it is paid off, even though you have upgraded to another phone.
So now you are paying for two phones. If you upgrade again the third year
you then would be paying for a third phone and so on. AT&T does not tell you this and neither does any other Telephone Company. I wanted to share it with
you. Because I talked directly to AT&T about it and they told me that my
brother who told me about the situation was right this is exactly what
happens so if you decide to switch to another company and you haven't paid
off all of the phones. You are still liable for them. God bless, Wren PS. If this is not clear please write to me off list and I will try and explain it
better.

Hi Anita,

I don't specifically know about AT&T's program, but Telus and probably
other
providers here in Canada offer something similar. One thing you can be
sure
of is that you do pay for the phone one way or another. What AT&T and
companies who offer this will do is sell these 1-year old phones as used
phones, especially with the iPhone the value will still be quite good, but
If they offered the same monthly deal without charging for the iPhone
while
at the same time offering you a new phone each year, they would soon have
no
customers who would spend $199, $299 or $399 for a 5S any more. For people
who like to have the latest and greatest every year paying a bit extra
might
be worth it.

Hi everyone. Anybody using AT&T's next program, wherein you can get an
iPhone 5S by only paying taxes on the phone? I was told gone are the days
of buying the phone outright. I was told you can upgrade every 12
months.
I was told each time a new iPhone comes out, you can upgrade without
penalty.

Is anyone using this program? If so, how do you like it? Do you not own
your phone?

Any feedback you have would be appreciated. Thanks.
