Sometimes it takes a while for a shop to produce gold. You may have to
wait 8 hours for it to show up. Even then, I have 120 structures in my
castle, but I only get gold from 96 of them. Maybe this includes
upgrades, which don't produce gold themselves. Maybe there are some food
shops that don't produce gold but only food. You could go through your
manage shops tab and tally up the structures while looking for ones that
don't produce gold.
