Hi Robert, If your reply was underneath you must have accidently moved focus back to the bottom of the message which is easy to do in iOS 7 since the cursor is moved to wherever you touch the screen. Takes a bit of getting used to, but for me if I double tap with one finger in the email body and it says Insertion opoint at start it definitely is.
