Hi John, I totally agree with the beep at 0. I have a 24 inch audible level which works the other way. It beeps one sound to one side and a different sound to the other and becomes quiet when level. Of course I would use that level for important work but having it on the phone is handy if it is reasonably accurate. To straighten a picture I just knocked, its more practical to just whip out my phone rather than go to the tool box. (smile)
