Hi Anita, This is a known bug and has been mentioned a few times since the release of iOS 7.
You can actually delete what is in the text box, but you can't move the cursor until this is fixed. If you double tap in the edit field I think Voiceover only says Insertion point at start, but you can just try to double tap and hold delete, then swipe out of and back to the field. If the name is still there you were probably at the beginning of the text, just double tap again and delete again, I was able to successfully delete and rewrite a name. Probably a good idea to write to Apple Accessibility about this, i.e. to "also" write to them since I am sure quite a few by now probably have.
