The Amazon Basics Bluetooth keyboard measures 10 inches left to right. It measures 5 inches from top to bottom and is about a half of an inch thick at it's widest point. It uses 2 triple A. batteries. There is a tactual marking on the letters F and JJ for easy finger home row location.

The keyboard has 5 rubber feet to keep it in place when it's being used on a table top or smooth surface. The keys are flat. your not going to find old style desktop keys on a portable compact keyboard. People want a keyboard they can drop in a backpack. I like this keyboard because I can type on it even with the keyboard in my lap and my iPhone in my shirt pocket. And now with iOS 7.03 offering the dictation option in text fields, I probably could get by with out that as well. On the other hand, the Amazon Basics Bluetooth keyboard is a great option or even a backup.

Subject: RE: Amazon Basics Bluetooth Keyboard Now $26.99

I know this topic of keyboards has been beaten to death but when you're not
looking for one, you tend not to pay attention. I'm now looking for a small
keyboard
Which is about half the size of a normal keyboard but has similar sized
keys. Is there such a thing out there? I looked at the Anker but it seems to
be about the same size as a normal keyboard and I want something smaller.
Also, I do not like the flat keys such as you find on most laptops. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
