Hello there, In what Richard has mentioned. All apps that is FREE. You can't gift but rather you can send them an email by the Share button. The WhatsApp has been FREE since July 16, 2013 of this year. Before this it used to be $0.99 to purchase. I believe at one point I heard that they were going to a monthly pay subscription toward the end of this year. However, I have not heard anything since that article back in the summer when they had announce this.
