The app seems to be fixed... I had heaps of troubles over the weekend, and
then yesterday was able to download several books, including "The
Goldfinch," without any issues whatsoever.

Apparently it was only with the mobile app, since I was able to access the
site just fine Sunday on my laptop. However, it has been fixed now and all
is working again.
