Hello Brian, Todd, Isaac, and Others,

I am extremely puzzled by Isaac's recommendation of the sReader app as a PDF
reader because, according to the reviewer who posted an entry at AppleVis for
this app, while sReader supports reading ePub, PDF, and TXT file formats, the
reading of PDFs and TXT files is not accessible with VoiceOver. He is using
sReader to read ePub files in place of iBooks because he wants to avoid the
annoying pause for the page turn graphic at the end of each page, and also
because he wanted a reader that would stop at the end of each chapter (in the
case of falling asleep while reading at night, to make it easier to find ones
place).

Here is the link to the AppleVis directory entry for sReader by Sof:
http://www.applevis.com/apps/ios/books/sreader
There is a link under the Comments section to a Google translation of a
detailed review that he wrote of this review in French. In paragraph 10 of that
translated review Sof states, "SReader is able to read PDF and TXT files, but
Reading them does not seem to be accessible with VoiceOver."

HTH. Cheers,

Esther
