Hi Don, I can't confirm the fuzzy sound, but I have had my Jambox for probably 2 years and the battery definitely does not last so long any more although mine still holds a charge for maybe a couple of hours. I suggest you contact Jawbone and explain what it's doing to them and see what they suggest.
