Yes, there is an accessible Kindle app for ios, that you can get from the app store on your iPod. Once you have that app, you can register the app using your existing amazon account info. Of if you don't have an Amazon account, use the amazon website and establish one. Then register the Kindle app using the email address and password you gave to amazon. You can buy the Kindle books using a web browser, either on your pc or Mac or via Safari on your iPod. You can't use the Kindle app to buy books. But when buying a Kindle book on the iPod or your desktop or laptop computer, you can instruct the site to send the book to your Kindle for iPod, and it will go there. It is very easy.
