Worth asking author, I remember the newer versions did eventually line up the buttons along an edge, but that was before iOs7.* which I never had, so am probably out of date. But it was a feature, and for sure the pattern used on the small devices was hardly practical on an iPad screen of any size. Maybe it is only toggling from auto to something else; I can't help now since I sold the Mini to someone!.... Haahahahaha, and they like it, right?
