Blindsquare will tell you cross streets and points of interest, but it won't do turn-by-turn directions. Some people use the native Maps app with good success and you could set up a route in Maps for turn by turn directions, then open Blindsquare and use it for your upcoming cross streets etc. The only single app which will do a good job similar to what your Trekker does will be the Seeing Eye app from Sendero. However, it is a subscription based app which you can subscribe to by the month for $10, by the year for $70 or for 3 years for $130. My question is I also have a old Trekker pda. are any of the above apps going to act like this trekker pda? meaning will they give me turn by turn directions or if I have the apps on will they tell me turn by turn directions and what I am passing? like the Trekker does?
