I just discovered something I believe is quite convenient. It seems that
you can send an e-mail (or someone else can) to your account(s) that are
processed on the iPhone and, if written properly, can be directly entered
into your iPhone calendar.
What I mean by "written properly" is this:
- The subject line will be filed into the title field of the calendar event.
- if a date is placed into the body of your e-mail message, that will be
entered into the event date of the iPhone calendar
I'm going to play around with this a bit just to see if any other fields of
a calendar event can be written into the e-mail body and pulled from that
into the iPhone calendar.
I personally find it much more convenient to type things on my PC so sending
my iPhone e-mail account (iCloud.com) such messages from my PC will be a
great improvement.
When reading the e-mail message on your iPhone, you click on the date
entered in the message and it brings up the calendar with the event title
extracted from the subject line of that e-mail message.
