That's what I ended up doing, but previously I could drop them directly into the PC connected iPhone- 1 step instead of 2 (adding to playlist and then syncing). Your knowledge and constant willingness to help are wonderful assets to this list.

You do have to use F6 quite a bit to get around and sometimes you have to tab a lot, but it all works quite well. I suggest for adding single songs that you add those into a Playlist and then sync the Playlist with those songs in it.
