Neal: I use my iPhone to record most all interviews that I do in the field as a news reporter. Just before I start my interview, I put the phone in airplane mode which prevents calls as well as other push notifications which may come from internet based apps from making their presents felt... I'll also do the same with my iPad if I'm using my ATR2100 hooked up through the camera connector. Yes, my iPad is a YFi model only, but, I don't want things making noise & either interupting my thoughts, my interview or recording. ----- Original Message ----- From: Neal Ewers To: viphone@googlegroups.com Sent: Tuesday, February 04, 2014 14:38 Subject: keeping phone calls and other things from interrupting my recording on an app
I am using Zoom Handy recorder to record. When I am using this app and receive a phone call, the file I am recording ends. What's the easiest way to temporarily stop phone calls and other pushed information? I tried using the mute button on the phone and while the call does not ring, the app stops just the same. Thanks much. Neal -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group. Post a new message to VIPhone by emailing viphone@googlegroups.com.
