OK, you guys are exactly right as I figured you would be. I just took a
picture with the iPhone and it now shows up as a drive. As you indicated,
the only thing I can see is the photo. This is my biggest complaint about
the iDevice structure. Android makes it much easier to get things off the
unit without using some proprietary software. I grow to dislike iTunes more
day by day. OK, not an invitation for people to clutter the list with
glowing reports about iTunes. I know a lot of people love it, and this is
how it should be. I am just not in that camp.

Hi, Disk management is also a term for the PC. And Thanks for those who may
have answered my question. I think I must have had videos on the iPhone at
one time and you're right, I could get them off just like I would get files
off any other connected drive. So, this is why the iPhone is no longer
showing up. No photos or videos.

Thanks for the help.

Hello,

I am confused with yur subject line referring to PC and the body of your
text referring to "Disk Management," which is a term for the Mac OS. When I
plug my ipHone via USB to my PC, my ipHone is listed in Windows Explorer in
the Computer tab under other. Have you looked there again?

Hi, Use to be that when I plugged in my iPhone and was not running iTunes,
it would show up as a drive. Lately, it does not show up. So I thought,
that's because it is not mapped as a drive. So I looked in disk management,
and it doesn't show up there either.

Any clues? And thanks for the help.
