I didn't know about these practice screen shortcuts- thanks. Is a swipe with one finger the same as a flick?

First, don't make the move too big - a half inch to an inch is enough, I find. Second, don't put your finger down and then flick or swipe, as that usually leads to Voiceover thinking you are touching rather than trying to perform a command. Instead, be making the flick gesture as your finger hits the screen, so that the flick or swipe is interpreted as what you intended from the start and there is less room for ambiguity. It sounds harder than it is, I promise. Finally, make use of Voiceover's practice mode (double tap four fingers, then do that again or do a two-finger scrub to exit this mode). -- Have a great day, Alex mehg...@gmail.com On Feb 10, 2014, at 5:52 PM, Don and Cher Bosch <oneagleswin...@bellsouth.net> wrote: It sometimes works, sometimes not.
