I'm not sure how accessible this is with Windows, but go here: http://icloud.com/#mail and give it a try. The mailboxes and mail messages are in a frame, so you may have to navigate to the frame first. Also, you could set the iCloud IMAP account up in your mail client. If you want to do this, you can google the server settings.
