Hi Mike, I don't have any programming experience, but there is a jailbreak tweak that allows exactly that for a lot of native apps, and third-party apps. The problem is that it uses the regular Fleksy app, and not Fleksy VO, so therefore it doesn't work very well for visually impaired users.
