Hi there. First a clarification. The iOS version is 7.0.6. Second, what you are referring to is the iCloud Keychain. I use it personally because I like to have Safari save my usernames and passwords for certain websites. If you want to do this then you will want to consider using the iCloud Keychain. It also has the advantage that if you have more than one Apple device, the passwords and usernames will be synced across multiple devices. If you don't use Safari for a lot of this kind of thing then you probably don't need it.
