Right, I missed doing it once, I think, but the other authorizations were lost during hardware failures and windows repair/install procedures.

If these are old computers that you forgot to deauthorize before getting rid of them, you may be out of luck. You can't lose anything by calling Apple and asking. My account says I have 4 computers authorized. I know one of them is a dead computer at work that I forgot to deauthorize before I gave it to our I.T. administrator who wiped the drive. It doesn't show up in the list of authorized devices, so I can't remove it. That was my fault.
