Turn off hints to disable the announcing of the letters with the final number of the passcode. However, please be aware that, with hints turned off, VO will not read the first few lines of emails when in the email list view. Because I use this feature, I leave hints on and except the announcement of the letters with the final number. Actually, the other numbers have their letters announced also if one pauses between numbers.
