I've just upgraded to ios7.1 and found that either the Google app, Google maps or Dropbox keet the location services running all the time. I turned off location services for Dropbox (why would it need it?!?) but the other two do need it. Even though neither app is running, it actually seems to be active somewhere. If I turn off Background App Refresh for Google app and Google maps then location services stops. Why they hell are they seemingly running without me initiating them?!?!
