The main functions of the A&E app is fully accessible. Videos can be watched with relative ease...I've had no problems with that experience. But, their dreaded sign-in screen was a total bear, before i found this work-around. Here goes...we're dealing with a hidden screen. When selecting the cable provider on that first sign-in screen, you find a hidden "clicky" button. Although it is a button, VO doesn't tell you this. The first "clicky" button is brightHouse cable. If you have comcast or DirecTV, there's a bit more work involved, but its now doable. Scroll up until you here something like "rows 3 to 8 of 8." You have to uncover the hidden screen first...but you won't see the other options, not yet. To make these hidden buttons appear, press the home button, then enter the app switcher and re-enter the app, don't close it! You'll then see two more "clicky" buttons. The first is comcast Xfinity, and the second is DirecTV. I hope this helps someone...I was rather bored so...yeah.
