Hello, I was surprised to read comments on this list advocating the use of containers for reading mail. I'm sure that works quite well, but wonder if people recommending this method have tried just flicking up with two fingers from within the body of the message to read it. This easily avoids the headings in the first container, and reads through the contents of the second container nicely. And, it has the advantage of only requiring one gesture. Try it, you'll like it!
