Hmm, interesting. I use earbuds all the time and frequently adjust the
volume or start/stop media with them when in the lock screen. I
haven't had this behavior yet. I have iOS 7.1 on an iPhone 5. What
model phone do you have? Is it only happening in the lock screen or in
certain apps, and if so which apps?
