Just checking -- I had thought that perhaps Office was designed for olnly
the iPad because of the larger screen area. Is it also available for the
iPhone and iPod?
Thanks.

Hi Eric and all,

I looked in the support/help info on the app and as I was suspecting, you
can call the same Microsoft Accessibility support phone number that you can
now call for any issues with Microsoft software if you are using any
adaptive software/hardware, which I will do later this morning.

The number is:

800-936-5900

Hours are 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday and 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday.

I found them very helpful when I ran into a problem shortly after getting my
Windows 8.1 laptop.

Hi Richard,

If you find out who to contact about accessibility with the
Office app please share. I'd like to add my voice as that would be a very
useful productivity app for me and I'm sure many of us.

Also,

I just read the end of the information in the app description, and it says:

"* Sign in with a free Microsoft account to create, edit and save documents
for home."

So, a free Microsoft account is all that is needed for home use. If you
have a business, then Office 365 subscription is required.

Here is what it says about that:

"use. A qualifying Office 365 subscription is required to create, edit and
save documents

for business use. Qualifying plans include:

.Office 365 Small Business Premium

.Office 365 Midsize Business

.Office 365 Enterprise E3 and E4 (Enterprise and Government)

.Office 365 Education A3 and A4

.Office 365 ProPlus"

I think I will call Microsoft Accessibility tomorrow and ask them who to
contact about accessibility for their app.

If you read the entire description of the editing features in the app, this
looks great if they will only include voiceOver support.

Richard
