This work around will work to read the bible. However if you are doing a daily reading plan there is no way to get to that. I am just thankful I was able to sync an older release of the app back to my phone.

When the app opens with the verses of the day listed, instead of picking share pick the read button this will bring you to a screen where there is a button to read the entire chapter.
