Wow, either I've been asleep at the wheel or this is a bit of an 
exaggeration. I've seen some people question the need for a new app, as 
always happens on this list whenever someone introduces a new app 
designed for the blind, but I can't say that I've seen anything close to 
people attacking this app like a pack of mad dogs. Remember there are 
something like 1500 members on this list, so if two or three people 
point out that there are already a few possibly similar apps out there 
then this does not make an attack like a pack of mad dogs.

I too agree with Sieghard. There are literally thousands of calendar 
apps in the iTunes Store. I'm sure some are better than others and 
there's a lot of similarity between many of them, but with millions of 
iDevices out there, some of these apps are going to appeal to some users 
and others to other users. I don't see any reason why you can't have the 
same situation with braille input apps. In my experience, none of the 
braille input apps out there are perfect, and who's to say someone can't 
come up with a better idea than what's already out there?
