Hello.  When you first open the app, it is usually focused on locations.  Do a 
one finger swipe to the right until you get to settings.  Do a one-finger 
double tap on settings.  Once it opens, swipe to the right until you land on 
notifications.  One-finger double tap to select it.  Once it opens, swipe to 
the right and single finger double tap on the notifications you want to be 
alerted of.  When done, you can return to the previous screen by finding the 
back button on the top left.

This is a great app.
