I tried doing this but it did not work. So I rebooted my iPad and now just
do a one finger flick up then double tap each app delete them. I guess the
moral of the story is to reboot the device if something doesn't seem to be
working right.

I still do it the old way as I'm not up to 7.* yet.

Open app switcher,
select something,
double-tap and hold until it burbles and says editing apps, then as you say,
double-tap each in turn to lose them.

Subject: Deleting apps in the app switcher

Hi,

I know when I go to the app switcher you can use a three finger swipe up to
delete apps. I know there was another way where I use to do something then
just tap the screen and it would delete apps every time you tap the screen.
For the life of me I can't remember how to do it. Can anyone remind this
old geezer how to do this.

Thanks in advance

Ed
