Hi, I'm fairly new to this Facebook and Facebook Messenger thing and I was actually wondering what the purpose of Facebook Messenger is if you have the main Facebook app which has a Messenger tab and which seems to be exactly the same, have the same features and so on.
Anyhow, the only way I can delete anything is to touch or swipe to a conversation, then double tap and hold on the right side of the screen and swipe across from right to left. After that if you double tap again anywhere, the following options pop up: Archive Mark as Span Mark as Unread Cancel Not sure why you can only archive and not delete, but this is all I can figure out.
