The bluetooth antennae in the Aftershockz Bluez is on the left side of
the headset, so if you place your phone on the left side of your body
then that might help. Note that the Bluez 2 is redesigned, and this
isn't supposed to be as much of an issue.

Hi Christine,
A Bluetooth headset or speaker cutting out is typically more a result
of its connection to the phone. If, for example, you put on a
Bluetooth headset and then clamp your phone under your armpit most of
them cut out because your body, which is 70% water, blocks the signal.
It's a good idea to know if the Bluetooth modem in the headset is on
the left or on the right and then to keep your phone on the same side.
Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.0 devices are to some degree dealing with this,
but it could still be an issue.

Sieghard

Also, they cut out so badly while walking and using Blindsquare, that
it is impossible to know what is being said. I was very disappointed
when I discovered they only worked consistently when standing or
sitting very still.

The Sport is wired with microphone, the Bluez is bluetooth with
microphone. The Bluez has recently been updated to the Bluez 2,
and I understand it is currently back-ordered until sometime in
June. Both have play/pause an volume, I believe, though i only
have personal experience with the Bluez 1 and 2. I strongly
recommend you read reviews of the Bluez 2 before ordering, though,
as some people (myself included) find them extremely uncomfortable
to wear for very long.

which model of the aftershockz bone conduction headphones has
a controller and which models are wired and blootooth?
I plan to use them with blindsquare and would appreciate the
help very much.
