Hi Christine,

To delete all the music on your phone go into settings, general,
usage. Find music and you should see how much space is currently being
used for music. Double tap and you will find yourself on a screen that
says something like all music. Do a single finger flick just as you
would to delete a message in your mail app or any number of other
apps. Now when you back out of that screen, under usage it should say
something like no content.

I hope that helps. I had to do this several times during my struggle
to get only the music I wanted synced to my iPhone.
