Hi Jonathan, Donna and others,

Well, it occurred to me to maybe check on the DialPad screen since one would
typically use the iPhone Contact list to call landlines or mobile numbers
and the integration is right there.

Double tap on DialPad and, there is a Cancel button at the top left, the
phone number field in the middle and at the top right is the Addressbook
button.

I had turned off Skype in Privacy/Contacts yesterday in order to see if
turning it off and on would make a difference so now it told me that I had
to go and turn this on, after I did all my iPhone Contacts were there.

I guess to me it would make sense to also have "iPhone Contacts" in that
list of what one wants to display under People, but for now this definitely
is an easy way to get access to the iPhone Contacts.

Regards,

Sieghard

In my case I removed Skype and reinstalled.

Hi Mark and Jonathan,

Did you remove Skype and reinstall or did you install it as an update via
the App Store?

That's interesting Mark, in my privacy Contacts settings, Skype is not
listed at all.

Hello All,

With regard to the question of how to add iPhone Contacts into the new Skype
app, I just went into my phone settings, to the privacy area. I opened up
the Contacts section and, by default, Skypes access to my Contacts was
turned off.

For those who want Skype to have access to the iPHone's Contacts, which I do
not, have any of you checked to make sure this is turned on? If so, what
happened?

I am leaving mine set to off.

Mark
PS
Leave it to Microsoft to turn a first-rate app, into something (to put it
kindly) not first rate.
