Hi Joseph, You posted responses to both the Contact and the Recent Chat thread. I assume the solution you speak about which took you 5 minutes to figure out relates o Contacts and not to deleting items from the Recents list, a feature which really is missing.
Could you explain what you mean by "in-app search utility"? Do you refer to using the Addressbook button at the top right of the DialPad? I think we were all a bit confused by the fact that when you tap on the "All" button in the People view there are only 2 options, "All" and "Online". In the previous Skype version one would use the "Lists" button and then there were options for "All", "Skype Contacts", "Online Contacts", "Saved Phone Numbers" and also "iPhone Contacts". I think this was maybe a bit more intuitive and I don't quite understand why they didn't at least put "iPhone Contacts" as a third option with "All" and "Online". Then it would have been possible to access the contact list either from inside the People view as well as from the DialPad. Also, if I use the search field in the People view and search for a contact I only get results from my Skype contacts and not from my iPhone Contacts even though I have allowed Skype access to my contact list.
