Hi Hope, If you wait about 20 seconds after the Bluez has stopped using A2DP, the volume buttons will give you battery status. The same thing for Siri usage. You have to wait until A2DP is inactive before using Siri. Also, when A2DP is active, pressing and holding the button on the left earpiece is actually toggling you between to different equalizer settings. One has more bass than the other.
