Hi all,

I'd like to begin using the Numbers app on my iOS device, but since it is
$10, I thought I'd save myself some cash and a couple of hours of
experimenting in the event it is not accessible, so here I am tapping into
the pool of knowledge on the list. <Smile>.

I recall listening to a podcast where the presenter stated he could only use
Numbers by swiping to the right and left and could not read down a column of
cells as one would do in Excel when using up and down arrows.

If someone out there has Numbers installed on his or her iDevice, will you
please convey whether you are able to use the rotor to switch to "vertical
navigation" mode then swipe down a column of numbers?

The goal here is to be able to quickly swipe from left to right and vice
versa on any given row to locate a column, then I would like to use the
vertical navigation to swipe up and down to read each item within my desired
column.

I will be very, very grateful if someone can confirm whether this can be
done.

Thank you,

Joseph
