Hi Christopher, 

I thought I had my phone set-up to back-up to the cloud. Apparently, I
didn't. When I checked it said my phone hadn't been backed-up to the cloud
for 12 weeks. Once everything was backed-up, the request to sign in to
Itunes went away.  

Thank you very much for suggesting I look at t the settings.

Do you have music turned on in the show all section of iTunes and App Stores
under Settings? This allows you to see not only what you have purchased but
what is in the cloud for you to download.
