Hi Mike, For you and others who are interested in portable power, you might want to check out http://www.brunton.com/pages/power for some less consumer oriented options. Brunton also does make power packs similar to those you would find from Anker or Limefuel, but as an outdoor company they also have other interesting options. Of course some of these batteries cost up to $400 and weigh 3 or 4 pounds, but Brunton even has hydrogen power banks and they have some solar options. Their expensive batteries also have 16 Volt and 19 Volt outputs on top of USB which allow you to charge a laptop or other non USB devices.
Definitely specialized and geared to some degree towards outdoor expeditions where people need power during a multi-week expedition, but interesting.
