I was talking about the iPhone app, but I use the web interface on the PC as well.

Note, I only see the national feed option on the iPhone app. I never saw it on the web interface. Obviously, it's also only there for those games which have a national feed, like the Thursday night game.

Except for the two problems I mentioned earlier, I didn't have any problems with the iPhone app last season. One problem was with the feeds not being available the part of one weekend and the other problem was that you couldn't switch feeds, you just got the default home feed. Neither of these issues were VO related.

I'm sure the app is the same whether you're on AT&T or Verizon. You do get access to the radio feeds with an Audio Pass subscription even if you're not on Verizon. There may be some features, like the video feeds, which you only have access to on Verizon or maybe you need to subscribe to something other than Audio Pass if you're not on Verizon.

Christopher, so I am clear, are you speaking of the Iphone app or computer?

Your description is just what I get on the PC, although I don't recall
seeing a third, national broadcast. I believe you said the other day you use
AT&T, so I wonder if the NFL app for listening is different than I can get
for Verizon. As I said, I did try an app (not sure it was the right one to
listen to games last year, and could not get anything to work.

I do have a pro football or NFL pro or some such app that has been fairly
good about playing the games I want, if I go through enough options, but
even my home team isn't consistently broadcast on the same network affiliate
station. I wonder when the NFL will follow MLB's lead and shut down all of
these leaks in their control over how we can access games.

Thanks for clarifying.

Eric

If that's the Bears flagship station or part of the Bears radio network
then yes, that is the feed you'd get on NFL's Audio Pass. You can choose
either the home feed or the away feed, so to get that feed, you'd
obviously select the home feed when the Bears are playing in Chicago and
the away feed when they're on the road. If there are multiple radio
broadcasters calling the Bears game then I'd assume the NFL would use
the official broadcasters associated with the Bears organization.

I don't live in Florida, but I listen to the Dolphins broadcasts, and I
hear the same three guys I've always heard on the Dolphins radio network
which comes from the Dolphins flagship station, although I can't
remember the call letters at the moment.

BTW, you can also select the national feed for those games that are also
coming out over Westwood One, if you want an unbiased call of the game.
I think it's kind of fun sometimes though, to jump to another game I'm
interested in, and hear how the broadcasters of one side or the other
are calling the game.

Ok then let me ask this question. For example, the Chicago Bears games
are broadcast by WBBM radio which is the Chicago station. Now is that
the feed you would get?

Does anybody know if audiopass will let me listen to the Chicago Bears
games?

Yes, Wayne, you are correct, the Green Bay Packers games are blacked out
by
their network.

I have also looked up the station with the Free Football Radio website
Fred mentioned earlier, and then searched for that station in ooTunes.
I generally found any stream I wanted to listen to with this method,
though it is a few more steps. I have since gotten some of the Pro
Football Radio and Live Scores apps mentione dhere and they are my
primary means of hearing games now. Some streams do not come up or
have games where I end up hearing the opponent, but I can still
listen. The only teams I can't bring up a live feed for are the Giants
and one other I think.

I have never had a stream cut off in Pro football radio in the 2 years I

the one that works again for .99 cents you can't do any better than
this. I
even used the college football radio app to listen to a Florida Gators
basketball game as I just went to Florida Gators and it had the feed.
Both
apps are two of the best I have ever bought and they are both completely
accessible.

A couple of us on list used the NFL Mobile app last year. AT&T is my

interface isn't the most intuitive for a VO user, and there were a few
unlabeled but obvious buttons, but you can bring up the feed you're
looking for. There were a few glitches with the system last year,
such as
only being able to select the home feed, and I think one weekend they
just
had problem streaming games. I think we got some kind of free access
that
week to their archived games to help compensate, but I don't recall the
details. I've noticed a few updates to the app during the off season,
so I
don't know if any of the updates have improved things or made anything
worse.

I just got my notice of renewal for 2014 on the computer.

They do mention a mobile option. Has anyone tried this in the past,
assuming
it is the same one.

Last year, I did try listening to games on the Iphone, but I had no
success
finding the game I wanted or getting it to play. I wonder if a
different
subscription is required or maybe I had the wrong app.

The price is still $19.95 for the PC for pre-season and regular games.

Thanks for any pointers. I have until August to decide if I want to
continue
it. Most times last years, I have simply found the games on Radio
Pro or
the
like, but I have always wondered when they would get around to shutting
down
those outlets
