HI Julie, No, you should not need to sign in to Netflix every time you would like to use it. You should only need to sign in once and then it will be available to you each time you click on it through Apple TV.

Julie, in my opinion apple Tv is a lot easier to use netflix with than anything else. I would even go as far as not using Crhomecast, and just use airplay to stream music to your apple Tv from your phone. Netflix is a lot easier layout wise on the apple Tv. I use it almost daily and it's much easier than most things out there using the phone. The phone can be used as an apple Tv controller but it can be a pain to set up and it's almost just easier to use the Apple Tv controller itself.
