Hello, Yes, you can delete individual messages in a conversation, but it's not the most intuitive thing to do with Voiceover. Here is what I do:
1. Find the message you want to delete. 2. Double tap and hold on the right side of the screen, then after the triple tone swipe across to the left side of the screen without lifting your finger between the double tap and hold and the swipe. 3. You should hear Voiceover say "Forward, menu item". 4. Swipe left once and you are on delete, Voiceover will say "Delete, menu item". 5. Double tap on delete, you will be prompted "Delete message, it cannot be undone", then you have to confirm by double tapping another delete button. If you swipe left once more when you get to delete, you find a third option which is "Copy".
