No, the 5C is essentially the internals of the 5 shoved into a plastic case. The 5S has the 64-bit processor, fingerprint reader, and (I think) more ram and a better camera/flash. Wait until the 6 comes out, and the 5S will drop in price. The best time to get an iPhone is right after the newest one comes out, or during the sales in May and June, at least that's been my experience in the last couple years.
