No, there isn't any easier way. However, with the Bard app on your iPhone
etc, you can set the reading time for longer then just 1 hour.

I am thinking about switching totally to the BARD app instead of using
a DAISY reader. The thing I love about my Stream is that I can reach
over and tap the sleep alarm but in the app I have to go into the
timer and set it to shut off. Is there an easier way to do this? I
listen to books when I am going to sleep.
