Hi, Traci,

I'm in the same position as you right now. I pretty much like to get current
technology so it'll last me for awhile. I am debating whether to get a mini
retina and perhaps pay less than getting a possible newer model, or go ahead
and spring for the newest one. I'm assuming iOS 8 will be around for at least a
year, and the older mini would be supported. One thing about waiting: the price
of the current mini might most likely decrease if there's a new Mini on the
market.

HtH,
Teresa
