In Keysoft 9.3 and 9.4, I found similar connection problems. Nothing changed 
except the Keysoft version, so I have to think it's something Humanware did. Of 
course, a newer iOS device is probably what HW will tell you you need, but I 
tend to think that's not the case. I can't offer any specific advice on fixing 
it, unfortunately, but I can say that you aren't alone. This is just one of the 
great many reasons I've given up on Humanware's notetakers altogether.
