I happen to have the LifeProof. It is a lot lighter than the defender, but it does have a flaw. The speaker is a little muffled while listening to Voiceover. I don't know if they have fixed that in the new cases. It is about the same price as the defender, but I know where you can get it for $69.99 if interested.
